The Diril Raw Crash Cymbals have a 100 % hand hammered surface area including the the actual cup. The natural finish on all these Diril cymbals is commonly called a Turk by most cymbal manufacturers. The natural playing surface along with this types of finishing process give dry and earthy tones with a unique clicky Diril stick over the top of the dry, subtle wash. The Turk style finish on these Diril cymbals is one of the best natural finishes you will find, it is not at all overly dirty super rough like other cymbal markers.
Diril Raw Cymbals tend to be dark and low frequency but still maintain the complexity that is only seen in cymbals made by Ibrihim Diril. The natural, subdued tone on a Diril Raw cymbals release using the flick from the stick with a nice low roar that is great for accents.
